Connecting the Southwest Corridor and community through urban farming. This project is a community-based project that links diverse communities through local food initiatives. The project aims to leverage existing urban gardens and organizations and create a shared vision for a vibrant local food corridor that acts as conduit for civic engagement, food justice initiatives and catalyst for larger urban food narratives and systems throughout the City.Massachusetts Avenue is the selected anchor site for this project. It serves as a first intervention in a series of many interventions that can take place along the corridor linking food production. The site is composed of four parcels of varying sizes that connect the Back Bay neighborhood into Northeastern Campus.
