
A little bit about me! My name is Sharmeen Khan, I was born in South Africa, my family is from Italy and Bangladesh. I am an architectural designer driven by a passion for creating meaningful, impactful spaces that resonate with their users, the surrounding culture, and the natural environment. With a Master’s degree in Architecture and international work experience, I’ve collaborated on a wide range of projects including, residential projects, large-scale university buildings, humanitarian initiatives, and the development of emergency shelter systems. My design philosophy integrates creative problem-solving with thoughtful project delivery methods, ensuring innovative and functional outcomes.
As someone with synesthesia, I bring a unique sensory perspective to my work, crafting spaces that evoke emotional connections and enrich the human experience. I am deeply committed to curating environments that positively influence the psychology of the human brain, supporting well-being and fostering a sense of connection.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and French, I approach design with a global mindset, drawing inspiration from my dual nationality and diverse professional experiences. Using tools like Revit, Rhino, and AI-enhanced visualization software, I bring concepts to life with precision and creativity.
